Varighed: 180 min.

Duration: 180 min.

Subversion, utopia and possibilities are reflected on mirrored floors and in body movements. ALITY is a choreographic and sound poetic study of the potential of the incomplete in what we call the present. In a world where perfection is pursued under the conditions of capitalism, the cross-aesthetic performance work challenges the existence of the etiquette and leaves the objects, movements and meetings of the room to constant negotiation in the moment. In the potential lies the imagination, and in ALITY nothing is predetermined. The 5 performers have a background in dance, sound, acting and performance. Led by unpredictability, the audience can join and leave and move freely during the work’s three-hour duration.

  • "The research has led us deeper into the practice we have called the ‘channeling body’ in which the performer acts as a conduit for unknown dances, utterances and affects."

  • "The pockets of historically constructed one-size-fits-all solutions would not do, it required a complete blindness and faith, a jumping from the diving board without knowing if there was any water in the pool below. Luckily, we discovered that if you take the leap, there always is."
